My aunt and uncle gave me this game for my birthday, it was a blast.

Brigham loves working with his hands just like Brad, we love having such a helpful young man.

Taking a well needed break, and Hunter,

well, he isn't as hard of a worker, but he works hard at playing ;)

We are excited to see these October Glory maples grow and

give us shade and brilliant red foliage in the fall. One in the front and one in the back.

Sooner then later we will have it all done, i am kind of glad it all died, so we could make it our own, and know that the kids had a hand in what we will see in the years to come.

the theme was blue and orange courtesy brig's choice, the cake was a bit of a disaster but we covered it up with the butterscotch candies, can you tell? He placed the candies all by himself.

Payton's find, everyone thought this one was pretty funny,

The mummy wrap game was hilarious. whoever used their crepe paper first won. the kids had a great time, probably a little more then the adults, good sports!

I'm not sure who won, but it was close, and, grandpa did cheat a little...
Over all Brig had a great time and we were so glad to have him surrounded by family!

These two were with hunter in mind, he loves scary stuff like dinos and the big coasters (yes i look like a dork), and he definitely loves boarding. these were custom ones too, pretty cool!

I figured Savannah would love the decorations in the main street shops, especially for spring time. And she is a fairy fan, these two were cute!

And last but not least, Brig is our Lego man. so the top pic is larger then life and all made out of legos, and then me trying to sit with the monster lego.

We started with duck duck goose while waiting for everyone to show up, and then went into fun crafts, and then yummy pizza and drinks. they then went on a scavenger hunt to find items that went along with the true meanings of Christmas (ie: the candy cane, the bow, the color red etc) the activity was fun and the kids had a great time!

And yes, our primary is much, much smaller then our last one.

so this is our sad little tree, not even worthy of being called a Charlie Brown, regardless, we at least had one up. Especially when I said i wasn't even going to decorate at all here this year. I am trying my hardest to not be emotionally connected to this place what so ever!

They did up the building so nice! And having a small branch building comes with advantages, our chapel is the cultural as well. so the decor was seen every week in sacrament mtg. so fun!

hunter was sooo excited to have his ggma and ggpa there to watch, he couldn't stop smiling! Thanks for making the trip up ggma / ggpa it really meant a lot! Plus hunter got pulled out early and got to go to lunch with mommy and his great-grandparents-a good day!

he and all the other kids did an excellent job, yes i had tearful moments but i held it together!! i love my children, and there is something that always gets me at school or church when they perform in any way, it makes me so happy!!

this one was my favorite i will add some of the video as soon as i can.

we all got to go back to the classroom after, the kids were so happy.
and even better there were cookies,
its a great day any day as a first grader you get to have cookies in the middle of class!

Harvest Elementary Art Exibition 2009

this was some work done by hunter's teacher probably from 20 plus years ago. but they were excited to see her name on display. so we got this picture too from brigham's teacher who did some dough art (as I call it) pretty similar to what my mom used to do ever year for the holidays.
great teachers and crteativly talented on top of that, our kids are lucky to have them. this is our little neighbor friend Allie who came along for the ride.

Savannah was pleased with her essay on art and her flower, sparkly, of course.
she did a great job!

The kids got to choose what form of "art" they wanted to display, so the boys choose lego scupltures (as long as it wasn't made from a it they were fine) so Hunter made up this jet fighter that says "Surrender" and Brig made a robot that says "Give me your Gold--Give me your Gold" and he put a little treasure chest with a tiny piece of gold in it. (Brig made an extra DO NOT TOUCH sign just to be safe :) so cute! The boys did a great job as well, they were all so excited to show something off for the whole school to see.

I went to a Becca's Bitsa's class and had lots of fun putting this little ensemble together. Kids Safety Fair!!

this is the large and strange fellow that greeted us at the door. Well at the right door. We first went into the Diabetes Convention-wrong room. The kids and i were laughing, we had to walk all the way across the room in order to get out.

All sorts of fun and interactive booths for the kids to do!

i forget what this little guy is called, but the guy had poop and stuff on his shirt, it was gross.

There was some sort of Star Wars sponser going on that had to do with kid safety, the kids didn't want to wait in any lines, thank goodness, but this guy came right by us and let us do a quick pic, Hunter was the only one who wanted to have a picture with him.

The boys want to do Karate so bad, so when hunter had the chance to do a free class,
he jumped right in and gave it a 100% until we had to go.

A gymboree booth was blowing these edible bubbles, they were everywhere, so the kids kept trying to catch them, they would stick to you longer and better then regular bubbles. Savannah was truly excited for this capture! in fact if you look at the bottom middle right of the next 2 pictures you'll see a big one.

these are highway patrol cruisers, not sure if we were supposed to be on them or not,
well you know me, anything for a fun picture.

of course we have sword fighting at the end of the day. these are from
free balloons they got, the balloons were gone quickly.

Altogether a great day!! Thanks Aunt Gail!! Plus we bought books so they had something new to read on the way home, thanks Gail for helping the decision making process. She is a teacher and had sorts of great input and ideas! Pizza, a trax ride, swimming and books the kids had a blast!!!

DRAPER TEMPLE OPEN HOUSE

Love living so close to so many LDS Temples! We just couldn't pass up the opportunity to take the kids for a special experience. It was a nice day!

My little goobers!!

It was a beautiful day but it did get cold standing and taking pictures, they had been "good" for too long, the behavior fairy was running low.
So we got in a few shots for Daddy and we were on our way.

This was probably more exciting then the temple for the kids, the saweet ride in the totally rad charter bus from the parking lot.
They were hardly any other people so they kept changing seats and laughing.
When we rode in the way back we were right next to the bathrooms,
the boys couldn't believe they had a bathroom on a bus.

They were bummed we were watching any shows,
but they enjoyed the whole trip!
I took them to dinner after to talk about what we saw
and to see what their favorite parts were.
The chandeliers seem to be the family fav,
and they kept touching the carpet on every room they went into.
Some friend told them they were soft so they wanted to know for themselves. Overall a great time and glad to be with my eternal family for a wonderful tour!

Valentine's Day @ School!

I love doing Face Painting at the kids classes, I got to do both
Hunter and Brigham's class.
I just didn't have time to take pics at Briggy's.
These 1st graders were so cute, especially the ones who got to be animals.
They finished up their day by crawling around and acting out what they were.
it was lots of fun to help out!

Hunter got his teacher a book for her V day gift so she let him read it to the whole class, he did a great job, and he acts like a ham and reads with so much emotion for a 6 1/2 yr. old.

This is me going to the other classes really quick to get a pic of the other kids, mainly for Daddy.
I did end up coming back and painting with Brigs' class for 40 min to help them out, Love it!

Savannah was not happy for the first time with me taking her picture, so I had her stand with her buddy Aubrey, this made her happy. Overall the kids had a great day and of course,
got lots of candy. The kids and I went to a movie together
and then had a heart-shaped pizza for dinner, good times, good times!!

The kids did such a great job trying to stay
still like wax figures and not talking.
Parents and all the other classes in school came to see
them and all walked really slow so the kids were

The boys all had fun shooting the big guns, Brig didn't get to for not being old enough, but we got a pic anyways. And GGpa (the man) came for just enough time to show the boys how it is done. The had clay pigeons, and he topped them all.

I 'm happy when Brad is happy, well we all are, and being that Manti and this cabin is one of Brad's most favorite spots, everyone had a great time!!

i would just like to thank the world of massage therapy- i am walking normal today with only slight discomfort, for the first time in 3 weeks!! YEAH! i do have a few bruises from the intense deep tissue work they had to but the pain and the hyperventilating is worth the relief afterwards. i'll post again after my nerve conduction test today. i should have the results a few days after. everyone keep your fingers crossed that i can find some answers instead of just relief so these horrible cycles stop happening.

I have to say so there is no confusion, all of these pictures were taken before Christmas. As most of you know I have had more "situations" with my lower back and now sciatic nerve. So i am posting now because i can stand and sit for more then one minute and am finally not in bed all day, just some of it. I go in on Tues and Wed. for some doctor appt.'s and i will update here to new info i receive and how i am doing. They have the cutest things to do in Utah!! I bet you didn't know the kids are professional Elf hunters. We sped around the village locating the mischievous little people and received a candy as a treasure in the end, the kids and I had such a blast!!

Based on a field trip the went on to "this is the place park" in downtown SLC, the program celebrates the entire state and its heritage, from the Indians to the Spanish settlers. very cute and well put together!

we had a good time, unfortunately the colors we were hoping to find we no longer there. fall had come and gone, it was just a barren land awaiting the snow. but as you can see it was still beautiful just the same. a lovely spot i hope to use as a backdrop for some clients coming up this week, unless the snow keeps us from going. overall we had a good time and the kids had fun messing around. what a great place Utah is!

Veterens/Kensleys Day 2008

Today I had a lot going on in my head...I know this is quite a surprise for some of you. Beside all the normal mumbo jumbo, like when should I attempt the stock market, I hope gas prices continue to fall and a desire to find money to buy a shotgun I spent four hours this morning watching our neighbors 2 year old boy while Kensley and Robin went shopping for Kensley's birthday. I cant believe that she is now 30. I thought it was weird to turn 30, but Kensley has always been so young compared to me, then I thought wait a minute pal, you are in your mid thirties so technically she is still young. Happy birthday babe.

The other thing I thought of today was veterans day. With the veterans that are in my family from my Grandfather, Dad, and brother, I want to thank all those who serve or have served our country. Something that bothers me is that Utah does not recognize veterans day as a state holiday. I don't understand it. There are so many people in this state that serve, and to not do anything I think is a disservice. So to all who deserve it, I salute you and am grateful for your service.

I forget to get a photo with my own kids at the party, so I had Mom take this when we got home
so Brad could see how I dressed up for the night. This skirt is on loan from Grandma Smith who made it years ago. She also lent me the cardigan and gave me the pearls years ago.
You Rock GGma!! I spent a lot of hours on this party and it all came out as I had hoped. I just hope everyone else thinks the same!?

We first had a dinner of Chili, Cornbread and Salad. Then a costume parade with music, and then, probably the kids favorite, the games! We set up 7 different rooms, with a whole bunch of people chipping in to help run them. Thanks to all of you!! Then at the end we came back in to the cultural hall for cookies and the announcing of the winners

It was so fun to vacation with the Bozzuto's.
Their kids had so much fun, except when they were tired. :)
It was a great time overall for everyone!! It was so awesome watching the joy of Disney through Michael's eyes. He had such a blast. And Violet is just the cutest thing ever, everyone thought she was a baby doll. Can't wait to move back to Cali to live near family again.

Brigham got to take a pic with this real-life Disney Chef, He was giving us lunch-time dining tips, and I told him how Brig is going to be a chef for Halloween, he told Brig to keep the dream alive.
